MGMI is an independent, evidence-first reference for mass gathering medicine. It exists to make every planning decision traceable to a primary source: a verified DOI, or an official document. Content under review is shown as draft and clearly marked until a physician has checked it.
Decision support & benchmarking
The calculator and the plan composer are decision support: estimates and drafts from published models and cited fragments, not a standard. Every composed staffing line shows its source and a confidence chip, and a plan is a draft until a named physician attests it — the attesting physician exercises independent judgment.
To improve the models and converge toward a learned doctrine, calculator runs and composer plans, decisions, and post-event debriefs are logged anonymously — event parameters and staffing choices only, no personal information, no IP address, and no venue names required (a venue alias is optional). Running the calculator or composing a plan consents to this. Nothing here is patient data.
